Adobe Creative Cloud

On and off over the years I've played around with many of the Adobe products. Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, etc, though mostly in trial versions due to not wanting to spend the money they cost. I'd really like the web design suite, but at $1500+ its hard to manage.

Which, brings me to my point. Sometime in this first half of 2012, they are going to release all the new versions in CS6. At the same time, their going to make the Creative Cloud available. From what I can find, it'd be $50.00 a month, but it will give you access to the ENTIRE line of products in the Master Collection, and some others they've been working on.

To me this is extremely exciting! I've wanted full access to all of these products for YEARS, if nothing more than to play around and learn something new. Its a lot easier for me to let go of $50 a month, than drop almost 3k+ on the Master Collection. And when they updated to 6.5, then to 7, etc over the next few years, you get all the new products. I think its a good move, since it'd take 5 years to reach that $3k mark, and that's not including the $300-$500 cost to upgrade when newer versions roll out. You still download the products directly to your computer, and so long as your subscription is current, you have full access.

I also believe this is a good move on Adobe's part. A lot of people hack/crack/steal these products because they cannot afford them. I think this is a very good way of getting more people to pay and have legal copies of this software.
