    Buying a street bike

What are some of your setups that you would have to have when looking to buy a used street bike, it's the summer time and could always consider getting one.

Specs that you would look for or that would suit you best?

Some things to ask yourself: how much experience do I have, how much riding will I be doing(daily weekly??) also distance. Will you have a passenger? Once you know what type of riding you will be doing then you can look at the type of bike that fits. Are you gonna just cruise or canyon carve and then hit the track or just go to work and back. I little more info about what you want to do will help. Just some food for thought.

    1. Not much experience
    2. 1-2 days weekly and maybe less then 20 miles
    3. No passenger (for now)
    4. It will be for cruising.

Next question, how big are you? 1000cc bikes are nice for us small to med guys, but big boys are more comfortable on Hayabusas or zx14's. All of them are fast when done right so pick the bike that make you smile & is most comfortable to you

Good point, I forgot about that one. Nothing like riding a bike to small and being uncomfortable which makes for some short rides. Guess it's like the wife always says" size does matter"
